The slight drag when slowing to a stop is exactly what you think it is. Warped/hot-spotted rotors.Did the rotors have this problem before-hand? A lot of times resurfacing them only masks the issue for a little while and then they come back. If they didn't, it's possible that the resurfacing grinded ...

Are you doing it simply for looks? Do you track the car?The good majority of cross-drilled rotors are NOT very good rotors at all. Cracks tend to develop between the holes that grow until the whole rotor is shot. Unless you're spending serious bucks on them you're probably going to end up with a set...

Re: 2004 Vibe GT owners - Lower lift for $100 without any tuning! (bassplayaz06)

It depends on the car. The performance VTEC Hondas generally engage at 5800rpm and rev to 8000+. My Si (2007, powered by the K20Z3), for example, was 5800rpm and it went to 8300rpm. They are also geared so that they stay in VTEC when you shift. What Toyota was thinking when they decided to set lift ...

Some driving impressions after 24 hours of having it installed:The car appears to drive smoother. It was possible in the Matrix, so I decided to see if it was possible in the Vibe GT. Sure enough it was! If it happens all of the time on all of your setups then my guess is it's your driving and not the car. If brake hard right before you stop then it's a very easy way to overheat them and get them to have hot spots like you're feeling. The best way to avoid that shutter feeling is to brake slowly and...

IIRC the NGK Iridiums are essentially what the car comes with from the factory, so I'd treat the replacement interval the same. I'm used to paying $80 for a set of plugs for my RX-8 that had to be replaced every 30,000 miles. $30 for a set of plugs that last longer than I'll probably own the car ble...
