Hi Tony how'd you make out with your install? Did you find any problems with your relay? I hear mine click faintly when the wiper operation commences during delay operation but I've been an auto mechanic for 25 plus years and the click is pretty faint to me lol. Hope all is good on your mod---Frank

Try cleaning yor MAF, use MAF cleaner aerosol spray, not carb cleaner! Dirt build up on element and cause positive fuel trims, and P0171. Intake gaskets are common too, cleaning maf is very easy and inexpensive and recommended 1st!

You may want to try cleaning the MAF first, this is also a common cause of P0171, it requires very little labor and you can buy MAF cleaner or use Brake clean -Don't use carb clean!!!--Frank

Yes and a refurb. radio can effect a sattelite radio subscription too, which could make the knob repair a better option if out of warranty. I would try to get a 3mm socket for the little bolts on circuit board if you are gonna try this repair.

I agree with raffe , there is a tsb about the intake gasket, just make sure you buy the most recent gasket from Toyota, I believe they are on the 3rd part# for this gasket, It's not an expensive part, like $10.00 list price, It will probably take ya an hour or so to change. Mine is also an ex-enterprise car, lol. The dealer only had 1 key to the car, they said enterprise usually returns the cars with only 1 key, so I had to purchase a key and program the fob portion to the car, no immobilizer on my vibe. ---Frank

Mobil1 5W30, yes even though mine is a 2010 I am still using 5W30 and changing every 5000miles. I've been lucky to get some AC Delco filters through work for a very good price.
