If it's the cable I think that's fine. It should be the electronic throttle control that requires the adaptor. But if you figure it out for sure, and you are interested just let me know.

It's pretty large I have the original box the supercharger will fit in. But even that box might not fit all the other parts. You will have to look into something tho I am not sure it is compatible with the 05 model. If it is drive by wire not drive by cable it may not fit the throttle body. You may ...

Magnaflow makes a direct fit replacement. Don't remember what I paid for mine but it was not bad. Even bought mine from eBay.no welding required so diy if you're handy.

Replaced one front upper strut mount since I broke a stud off the old one from it being so rusted. Also took the exhaust out to weld in a hung for my wideband sensor, still working towards getting my supercharger in. Almost starting to get anxious.

Probably would not make much difference I wouldn't bother. Besides there is nothing to be tuned on these cars without adding engine management. Unichip, or e manage. A pre programmed unichip actually might make some difference. I haven't tried one tho.
