Re: Radio lights going out

Thanks for the help. I just replaced my one bad bulb along with the other two bulbs. This thread along with this youtube video helped me gain the confidence to try and tackle the job myself. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x-TkGnDEd78&feature=g-hist" onclick="window.open(this.href);retu...

Re: (jayman2009)

The reason I got the powered controller is that it protects your vehicles sensitive wiring from too much amperage draw from the trailer lights, which could damage the electrical system on your Pontiac Vibe. Plus, in the past I had the bad luck one time of hooking up a U-haul Hitch with bad wiring th...

Re: Tips on installing Curt T-Connector Hitch Wiring Part#55057 (rmlmt)

**Update** There was a problem with my hitch wiring... For some reason everything worked when attached to the hitch except the left blinker and left stop light.. I emailed Curt tech support to see if they can help me troubleshoot the problem. They immediately emailed me back and said the unit I have...

**Update** it's been about 6 months so far I've put 3,000 miles on my Vibe since switching to Amsoil.. I checked the dip stick and the oil still looks clean, and I just checked my gas mileage from my last tank full of gas and got 35MPG (60% city/40% highway driving on this tank full).. Which is a hu...

Just got back from getting the tires installed at the shop and taking the car out on the highway to see how the new tires feel.. I'm thrilled so far with how they feel on the road and look on my car.. And with the money I saved with getting them on-line I went ahead and had them do an alignment as w...

Front right Fender damage Before and after pics

I got into a little fender bender with my Vibe. Well after getting it back from the shop I'm pretty happy with the results. F.Y.I aside from the obvious of paying attention to the road, keep your collision coverage on your car, even if it's more than 5 years old and paid off. This damage cost me $18...

Trying out some Amsoil P.i. Fuel injector cleaner. I've heard good things about it. I'll keep you updated to see if I notice better fuel economy after I use it. Got it for 10 bucks at ACE Hardware.http://www.amsoil.com/storefront/api.aspx

I Routed the wire to the battery through a grommet I found in the trunk and ran the wire along side the gas lines that run from the back to the front zip tying the wire every ten inches along the way. And to be on the safe side I protected the wire with plastic conduit that I got from Autozone to pr...

Just switched to Amsoil 5w30 on my 04 Vibe w 78,000 miles

I know when it comes to oils everybody has their own personal preference. But for me personally I'm going with Amsoil because I've heard so many good things about the product. My 04 Vibe has 78,500 miles and I just did the oil change and I went with Amsoil 5w30 with a Toyota filter. Although they sa...

I'd be careful if I were you with taking out your cabin filter too frequently to clean it. I'm not sure if your Vibe cabin air box is the same as my 04 is, but I noticed when I took mine out to replace, the little plastic door you have to open to gain access to the cabin filter is just held on with ...

The cabin filter pic I took of the old one doesn't show all the dust, cat hair, dirt, and bugs I shook out of it before I took the pic. It didn't feel that much heavier but who knows, it could have been a high performance, charcoal filter. The only reason I didn't think it was ever changed was becaus...
