I would recommend spending the extra cash for a set of Weather tech floor liners if the car gets used in snowy/sloppy conditions. I got a set in my new ride and they work awesome.

I don't know about the 04, but on the second gen the light would come on with about 3 gallons left. They rely on the fuel left in tank to cool the fuel pump.

I think the small engines with turbos like Ecoboost and Ecotec are a bit of a gimmick. Who knows how well they will work in the long run. Same for CVT's.

... I was a bit sorry to see it go, but my 2010 GT is no longer with me. Wanted something bigger, smoother and quieter. I don't think 2nd gen Vibe interior was built to same quality standards as first. Lots of rattles - including steering column and passenger seat. More of the interior paint peeling...

Very nice ride. My last car before the '10 Vibe GT was an '05 Corolla LE - that thing was bulletproof. At 120k one of the rear wheel bearings finally went - nothing else ever replaced except for tires.

Those are nice - I had one as a loaner while my '10 GT was in the shop. Very well done for a Chevy - but the gas mileage sucked out of the 4 banger. Perhaps it's just too big for the engine and it's working too hard - I didn't even average 20 MPG.
My parents own a Venza - I would recommend.

Turns out the K&N and Mobil 1 filters are both made by Champion Laboratories - K&N just comes with a nut welded on.

I had my Vibe in at the dealer for a rattle in steering column area - they think it is trim related. I don't agree.
