We had a Panasonic from 1988 to 2006. Was super. Got rid of it when the hose had too many holes, and was tired of the sticky duct tape. Bought a Royal in 2000, and have never had any problem. Replaced brush bar and belts.

The Vibe engine will not be as quiet as the Transport, wind noise will be about the same. Depending on the tires on the Transport it could go either way.
